What sales figures have Karatbars International shown so far? In Karatbars International´s first year with gold, 1,2 million 1 gram gold bars was sold. KB expect this figure to reach 6,2 million in their second year. And they expect to exceed more than 20 million 1 gram gold bars sold within their third year.
Does a purchase plan customer HAVE to purchase gold each month? No, the customer may at any time pause his purchase plan.
Can a customer have several purchase plans? Yes that´s possible, however Karatbars International only pays CABs on 1 purchase plan per person.
Can a purchase plan customer buy additional gold as one time purchases? Yes that´s possible.
What if I wish to make a gold purchase plan for my child? Parents may assign their children as customers with them selves as guardian.
Do I need a credit card to purchase gold? Not necessarily. All countries that reach a fixed amount of turnover will have a local Karatbars International office and with that, local bank accounts. Until, customers may wire transfer amounts from their country to Karatbars International or use PayPal as method of payment.
Are gains on gold taxed? That depends on the laws of your country, most countries however do not tax gains on gold purchases.
How often are distributors paid? Distributors are paid monthly up to three times.
Can I sell my Karatbars International business if I wish? Yes you may, it´s your business.
Can I have several positions in Karatbars International? You may have 2 positions in Karatbars International. One as a private person and one company held position.
To climb in titles I understand that points are needed. How do I get points? For every € purchased on new monthly purchase plans in your organisation, you recieve 1 point. That means if you have a group/organisation that has customers who purchase for 6.000 € you get 6.000 points. Points are also given on one time purchases in ratio 1:10.
Is there a limit to how many points can be given? Yes, one single monthly purchase plan can maximum generate 500 points. There are no maximum point amount on one time purchases.
How can Karatbars International pay so much in commission? As Karatbars International controls the whole process – mining, refining and selling – they have a much bigger revenue. From this they pay their distributors.
What income potential can Karatbars International provide? That depends on one´s own efforts combined with the efforts of ones contacts.
How much will a customer make me? Depending on your level you are paid between 100 € and up to 670 € on each customer you help assign a gold purchase plan. In addition you are paid up to 5,5 % on monthly purchase amounts as well as on one time purchases.
Q. Can I move someone to a different placement once registered?
Unfortunately once you placed your affiliates in their position, they cannot be moved. HOWEVER if your affiliate have not purchased anything yet and it is not older than two weeks, we can suspend the account and then can re-register to be placed in your desired position. For safety purposes we need a confirmation sent from the registered e-mail address of the account in order to proceed with the suspension. Please note that the suspended account will remain displayed in your down line in your back office, however it will have no use any more and will not affect yours and your up-lines commissions/units in any way. For future placements, please follow these instructions: Please note that once you select RIGHT you must click the UPDATE button! The UPDATE button will lock the position in. Same goes for if you select LEFT.
Log into your back office
Select the “Team Statistics” tab.
Within the drop down Menu click the tab at the bottom “Dual System”
Here you will see your Dual System in a graphical representation.
Select the “Placement” drop down menu.
You now have the option to place a new affiliate’s user name for direct
placement. Other Options: (Left, Right, Automatic or Placement)
Select “Placement” and enter the username of the registered customer/affiliate you want your next new registration to be placed under. IMPORTANT: Only when it is set to “Placement” will the next new partner be placed under the requested person in your dual team.
If you would like to change the “Placement” option, you can do so by repeating the process and selecting a new option from (Left, Right, Automatic or Placement.)
Also note that when you place an affiliate under someone you CANNOT decide whether the person goes to the left or right of that individual. Once you make a placement ALWAYS remember to click update after. IMPORTANT: Please note, the placement is a pre-setting and once your affiliates are placed in their position, they cannot be moved.
Q. Is there anything special to know about uploading my Know Your Customer(KYC) docs? IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING KYC DOCS KYC stands for Know Your Customer. In order to purchase Karatbars gold products, we will need a verification of your identity and residency. After the approval you will be able to place your first purchase. Please make sure the documents match the following requirements: 1. An ID with the matching name, a clear picture in colour and the DOB. 2. A Utility bill like a gas-, phonebill, etc. not older than 6 months that clearly states the name/Company name, address and a date. NO ENVELOPES, NO SCREENHOTS OR ONLINE BILLS. For business accounts we need the following additional documents: 3. Filed Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, etc. (completed documents submitted to a State or Government). A Company submitted to Karatbars for approval MUST be in “Good standing”. 4. Evidence that the individual submitting the documents is authorized to contract and transact business on behalf of the Company. 5. EIN/VAT, etc. document. PLEASE NOTE: Karatbars verifies information with various regulators but may require addition documents from the affiliate on a case by case basis. IMPORTANT: The ID card, the utility bill and/or the company registration documents must be kept in separate files. However, the company registration documents should be loaded as ONE PDF file so the documents may be considered as ONE package of information. This will speed up the approval process. General file requirements: – Maximum size per file is 10 MB. – Allowed file formats: JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, PDF. Q: I have seen three different people on the videos make three different statements pertaining to the required amount of gold purchased per month and the # of referees per month to maintain the requirements to receive all the bonuses. Please clarify. A: Legally we are classified as an E Commerce company which also offers an Affiliate program. We adhere to the E commerce rules set forth by Germany and the World Trade Organization. There are zero sponsorship requirements nor are there any purchase requirements from our company. The 12 week plan is an optional affiliate based system whereas the affiliate chooses to “personally commit” to the plan, but by no means is it a requirement. Q: Is the gold you purchase sent directly to you when it is purchased and do you have to clarify that you want it stored for you? A: Every customer/ affiliate of Karatbars is able to maintain, direct and manage their own account. If you choose delivery you can receive your gold from 1 gram at a time. For others who prefer to store their Gold offshore, we offer free storage in secure vaults, and at any time you can click a button and request all or any part of your stored gold delivered to you. KARATBARS uses a four eyed principle with our gold. Every Time one person touches it, there has to be four sets of eyes signing off on it. One of those sets of eyes is video surveillance. KARATBARS has their own vaults within the home office. It meets and exceeds all government requirements for vaulting gold and security. The vaults are insured for over 4 million euros. This is where we store the small gold bars… (1 – 2.5 and 5 gram) KARATBARS uses several private and recognized vaulting facilities to store large bars. These large bars are the companies and are allocated to Karatbars for their customers. When Karatbars need to provide smaller gram weights they remove a large bar and the Refinery smelts it down to the smaller weights, send them to Karatbars where they are placed in the Karatbars vaults. Karatbars will not provide the information publicly where the large gold bars are stored and in what vault. Due to security reasons, Karatbars only supply this information to the German government. The German government can audit the gold reserves in the company at will and designate a 3rd party auditing company to come in and audit all gold storage. This is done twice a year. Karatbars has a clear pass record due to the fact they always keep excess gold in their storage vaults than what their customer storage holdings are. If Karatbars ever failed an audit, it would make the news, as Government policy. Q: Is the gold in a separate account apart from the cash that would be used off of the Master Card? A: Absolutely! The MasterCard is a convenient way for Karatbars to pay commissions to the affiliate. You can use your card anywhere in the world MasterCard is accepted and it a very easy means of converting cash into gold if you choose. The gold itself can be delivered or held in the vault, and if converted to cash in the future it can be wired or placed on your card. Q: Is it insured by someone and is there a written contract that states who has it and it is obtainable with out a lot of trouble? A: Yes, there is an insurance policy that covers the gold held in the vault. Any time the client wishes to take delivery, it is as simple as deciding how much you want to deliver by clicking a button in your back office. The gold is also insured throughout the delivery process. The insurance is valid until you sign that you have received your gold and have it in hand. Q: What is the KYC that is talked about and since I am not that computer literate how do I upload to the office what ever documents are required? A: KYC is also known as “Know Your Customer” or the Patriot Act. All financial institutions are required by law to maintain a current list of its clients documentation and further verify no individual has been associated with terrorism or money laundering activity. You can scan a copy of your docs and upload them to your back office or simply take a picture using a cell phone and email them to yourself where you can save a copy to your computer and upload the docs to your back office. Q: How do I get help on the use of the “Back Office”? A: Your sponsor should walk you through the function of the back office once you are registered for your free account, There is also a short video on the team training page that walks through the back office, to help you if necessary. Q: Do you automatically receive the Master Card or is there amount of gold that has to be put into the account. I do realize something would have to be in the account but just wondered if you automatically had the account set up? A: The MasterCard account is set up once you have earned a minimum of 35€ ($45) in commissions. The set up of the card is 20€ ($25) and the balance of 15€ ($20) is the amount for the minimum deposit on the card. The card may also be pre-ordered (prior to commissions) for affiliates who opt to participate in our optional Dual System Pay Plan. The client must have a business package to pre-order the card. Q: What about family members, Spouse particularly, using the account and would the spouse have the same account with a duplicate card or separate accounts? A: We do not offer joint accounts, however, a husband and wife may choose to have individual accounts set up. Each Karatbar account has an option to add a beneficiary. Each Karatbar account will have a separate Karatbar MasterCard set up in order for commissions to be paid out. Q: One video stated that on a corporate or business account that there would only be one designee to operate the account, could you clarify? A: Yes, that is correct. If an individual owns a business, our system is designed for only one individual or signature of authority be authorized to manage the account. Q: Could you also clarify the establishment of children’s accounts and the setup of same. A: Individuals may create a Customer account for children under the age of 18. A child’s account is not eligible to receive earned commissions. I got my package, but not the MasterCard. Does that not come in one package? The MasterCard is sent from PFS in London… not Karatbars Although the companies are linked by security features… They are 2 separate entities Q. My online bill/screenshot/envelope was declined. You cannot purchase anything more until you load the documents and they are APPROVED. Q. I set up an auto purchase, but why does the system not apply the 3% discount which is already submitted? On an Auto – EXCHANGE purchase, which is a Voluntary option to acquire gold regularly, monthly or weekly, by ‘ Set It and Forget It ‘registration and purchase on a credit card, it is a Fixed amount, so the purchase gives you 3% more gold, not takes away 3% of the Euro amount. Q. Why did the 100 € discount code I submitted not apply on my bronze/silver/gold package? The 100€ discount is only applicable on VIP & VIP Exclusive packages and package upgrades to VIP & VIP Exclusive packages, Bonus Card Bundles, Multi Gram Cards and Branding Card orders over 250. You can use the cards for yourself and/or potential customer or affiliates. Once submitted it can be found in the back office. Choose the PRODUCT PURCHASE section and click on SUBMIT BONUS CARD. Please note, that the bonus code is never lost and almost always successfully submitted regardless of the success of purchase attempt. The 3% discount is applicable on ALL physical gold purchases (NOT PACKAGES) and once entered in the affiliates /customers back office will automatically apply on all gold purchases for one complete year or (12 months). The 3% code can also be used for the Multi Gram Card. Q. I tried to place a purchase, but why can I now only choose the upgrade packages, not the package I intended to purchase? Check your INVOICES under MY GOLD tab, you must have a pending –processing incomplete order, or Bank Wire. A Credit Card purchase will either process or clear within 4 hours or overnight, or Reset to show nothing at all. Once the payment is processing and stuck in pending, you see an ‘open payment’ in the Invoice section. After 30 minutes stuck in pending a Cancel button appears. All you have to do is click on the cancel button. If you did not, then it is still set as an open payment. Therefore the option to purchase the same package is automatically unavailable. Sometimes an order is made that requires the order to be VERIFIED and your bank has tried to contact you by phone, text, or email, and you haven’t responded. A Bank Wire only creates an INVOICE, TO BE PAID BY PRINTING OUT AND TAKING INTO A BANK TO WIRE FUNDS. SEE SPECIFIC INFORMATION. Q. I just received my MasterCard, why is the balance zero? For security and protection purposes, MasterCard doesn’t put money on the card in transit. You must ACTIVATE the card, and verify that in your back office under CARD LOG IN under COMMISSIONS tab. Once the card is received, you must log into the back office, choose “Card Login” within the Commission section and type in the last 6 digits of the credit card number. (You do not login to PFS.) You may try to enter the digits 3 times and if the numbers to do not match the numbers in our system, the card will be blocked until validated by our staff. In this case you are advised to send an e-mail to email@example.com for staff review. (This email is ONLY for blocked card review and not for PFS card services.) With a successful match, you will receive any pending commission due on the FIRST Friday following back office activation, meaning the previous security time buffer of 2 weeks before the first commission payout no longer applies. Then get your pin (numbers listed here also). The following Friday the Monies will be automatically deposited onto card. Q. I purchased 2 weeks ago. Where is my order? Depends on what you order and orders in front of your order. Generally for Packages allow 2-4 weeks for delivery, Gold orders allow 4-6weeks for delivery. It takes 15 euros at least to transfer monies onto your MasterCard. Q. I had 300 € in commission last week, but you only paid 250 €. Where are the 50€? I’m using my Wells Fargo card, why is my purchase not going through? You should always call the number on back of Credit Card and ask for Security and Fraud department… to let them know you are making an international purchase in foreign currency to a company in Germany and the processor is in London. I need to verify my limit is high enough and funds available to pay. Make sure that the name entered MATCHES exactly as it appears on the card Please note, we only accept MasterCard, American Express and Visa Credit Cards. Below is the message that appears on purchase page when you click pay by Credit Card Please read the message below and check the check-box in order to continue. 3 D Secure (Verify Visa/ MasterCard) is required for International purchases. Contact your bank provider Security-Fraud Department to verbally authorize transaction before you complete the purchase. If the Secure Visa / Secure MasterCard window pops up please enter your code to verify yourself as the credit card owner. DO NOT CLOSE THE PAGE WITHOUT READING. Q. I’m trying to purchase, but get the error ‘transaction not executed’. What does that mean? Several possibilities, most common are; Credit/Debit card Must be 3D Secure/MasterCard Secure/Visa verified Card info submitted does not match exact information on card, Profile, or record with bank You failed to respond to a call, text, or pop up page verification from your Bank/ Credit Card Not enough money on card More than 10 transactions in a month or 10k for a non-Karatbars card is the limit. Too many attempts in a period of time, securely blocking transaction as possible fraud Money is attempted to be drawn off a card from bank in another country, than the 2nd country user is doing it from, with a 3rd country purchase is being made to Q. I placed my son on the left, but wanted him to go right/ I placed my son under my daughter, but wanted him to go under my wife. Can you move him/change sponsor? Affiliate Terms & Conditions Sect 3, Para 5 states: “The Affiliate will NOT be eligible to make a refund on business packages once a purchase has been completed. Q. I made three purchases within seven days. Can I combine them? If they were all STORED GOLD… you can make a Delivery Request under MY GOLD tab. If they were ordered as Delivered orders, with 3 separate delivery fees, Contact Support Unfortunately Corp cannot combine gold and package orders due to insurance reasons. Q. I ordered a happy birthday branding card one week ago and need it in one week. Can you ship it ASAP? Unfortunately other orders are pushed out in order of date and ready production availability. So that most likely would not be a practical idea. A Team Leader in your group may have one to sell you. A good Idea would be to Plan better for that. Q. I want to switch teams, because my sponsor does not help me. Can I do that? Q. How can I load monies from my bank account onto my card? How to load your Karatbars Prepaid MasterCard: Credit Card You can load funds onto your Karatbars Prepaid MasterCard from your registered credit card. Your Credit Card have to be registered at the PFS Company. The number of days it takes for money to clear by online banking very much depends on who you bank with. If you would like to load funds to your Karatbars Prepaid MasterCard using bank transfer simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org . They can then provide you with the bank account details. Ask your bank to transfer funds to their bank account or visit your local branch and hand over cash. Be sure to include your 16 digit card number as a reference so we know which card you want to credit! Once the funds have cleared in the account PFS will load the value received to your card.
