Oh the poor turtles! Perhaps you met your wife there?! Perhaps you launched an idea to start your own business with a workmate. I grew up seeing these office workplace scenarios in movies but I never had one. An office job I mean. I remember reading about these coming paradigm shifts, and they spoke of remote workplaces and robotics replacing people´s jobs. If you are my age, the age before cell phones, you might remember curly telephone cables. Or a newspaper before it was replaced by blogs. Hotels are still around but Airbnb is made them ancient very quickly they´re at risk too. New rules apply when it comes to work and income. No longer is it the way of a safe secure job with a retirement package. Those do not exist. The internt made it possible for emplyers to do away with major overheads like rent and we are seeing commercial property prices drop, many jobs are now automated, and even Uber who took the employees jobs from transportation and gave it to the self-employed, will soon be replaced with AI autos. If you are an employee, your future is not safe. Sooner or later your job will be turned over to a self-employed “go-getter” or automated robot or sent overseas. More than that, the huge paradigm shifts that we experienced since the event of the internet will pale in comparison to what is going to happen with regard to blockchain technology Don’t look at this as bad. Look at this as an opportunity. Maybe you will buy a proof of stake in a car for Uber drivers/bots. Maybe you will receive income from your stake in multiple bot trading. Maybe use your brain and creativity and start telling your own story. I don’t know what works for you, but I know what doesn’t… We all have to stop waiting and wishing for the past to return. Truth is that if you do not have at least two sources of residual income you won't make it. The quicker you embrace the present to position yourself for the future the better off you will be, what will your legacy be?
