This will ruffle feathers for sure, but most teachers are poor people. Strapped into an archaic and slow moving education system which is based in fear and scarcity, (Most teachers complain that one of the biggest problems or issues is lack of resources and/or technology). So what is the difference between a flat sheet of paper and a paper plane? Vision. Of the millions of people who've been laid off in the past few months, people who are the least anxious about it are the ones who've had a side-hustles before. They´ve done it once and so the fear of a sideways shuffle isn´t as intimidating, they know what it takes to land a consulting gig or go freelance within their specialty. They've got that "Plan B" in their back pocket already. A Plan A and a Plan B, great! However no mater what their gig is though, they are still at the mercy of the organisation they join. For all of the years of education, those who do not come from families with inside knowledge of leveraged matrix businesses, will never outsource their skills fast enough to outrun inflation, especially with new pandemics looming in the future. The big reveal is that if you are not open to the new way the world does business, you will always be short of either time or money, but probably both. I agree that willingness to learn and try something new is essential, however it isn´t enough. A lot of people think they don't have the entrepreneurial spirit, but that's mostly because they've been taught to think of long term careers as the ideal, or in terms of moving from full-time job to full-time job. Or brave young professionals out there who refer to themselves as Solopreneurs, they prefer to do it their way, accepting all of the risk (and all of the profits), but this too is a very short term hit or miss methodology without understanding leverage. The reason the rich are rich is fourfold, they understand the power that they have in using their four types of intelligence: Mental intelligence Emotional Physical Spiritual and develop their sense of duty, dicipline, just like in the armed forces or any other practice that requires dicipline. Neuralplastic pathways can be rewired, so you need to exercise these four inteligences. Singleness of purpose is one of the chief essentials for success in life, no matter what may ba one´s aim. Clearly see your desires in your mind´s eye and believe they have materialized with feeling, belief and emotion 3. Employ your subconcious mind for solving problems by defining them and then writing down as many possible solutions as you can. Then hand the problem over to your subconcious mind - and forget it. Let the subconcious complete its computerised labour and hand to you a Eureka when it´s ready. You must act on these Eureka´s when you receive them. 4. By gradually doing the things you fear, you will overcome fear. Let the subconscious warn you of impending danger. 5. Although you may be bogged down with all sorts of worries and problems you still must be enthusiastic and the acting will turn into reality. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. 6. ¨Act as if¨in any circumstance you desire and it will be. 7. Cultivate your sixth sense by meditating daily and also by living a bit more dangerously i.e get yourself into situations that excite you or give you a tingle of adventure. Share share share. Many people I talk to on LinkedIn are still unaware of how serious this is and unfortunately they were schooled by PhDuh´s who are still selling the same archaic adages that allowed the problem to fester for the last 40 years. This problem has been growing and the paper tender tended for years like the professors in the Milgram experiment, they have tenure so not many have had the tenacity to face it themselves. When unemployment is high, there are few jobs and a lot of people wanting them which is why we have been so busy building teams online. This is good for solopreneurs and entrepreneurs because now they can get an amazing employees at bargin bin prices, but not good for employees and want-to-be-employees. There is a shortage of money and gold money and this also means salaries will freeze. No reason to pay employees more when the business can go out and get a better employee even cheaper. Again, not good for employees (this isn´t the case in the For Purpose Enterprise we are currently building, but more on that in another post). But… with all the FAKE money being printed out of thin air, inflation is on the rise. Now, businesses can sell their services and products for more money while their costs go down because they can pay their employees less. So now employees are making less but their personal expenses will rise. We know this cycle well in Argentina. but wait, there´s more… The US government just paid record unemployment benefits as well as stimulus checks whilst their mates in the FED printed a bunch of FAKE money. Who has to pay all that massive debt? YOU, the taxpayer. Your salary and benefits will freeze or shrink, the cost of goods and services will rise AND… your taxes are going to get raised substantially. Oh and probably the dollars you have saved in that jar or buried somewhere will suddenly become obsolete. The POOR MINDED will turn to the government, the government will turn to the multi-nationally owned corporations who own the banks, who will in turn smile back and ask, ¨How can we help?¨ The Muddle minded will take another loan to refinance a mortgage to hedge their money in bricks and mortar and The Wealthy 1% will do what they always do and not be overly affected. So… how do you protect yourself? If you re-read what I wrote above, then you realize the only one winning is the business owner. He/she can get the best employees for dirt cheap. He/she can start to charge more for their products and services AND business owners get massive, incredible tax breaks! Which leads us back once again to the famous E-Quadrant. Even self employed don´t win, Entrepreneurs win! Mind you, business owners are also at the whim and mercy of their governments political and economic ebbs and flows, however they have the cashflowhow to position themselves into the right assets . So what assets? You don´t need a PhDuh or tarot card reader to divine the answer Want to know more? To win at entrepreneurship you need three things: 1. An entity creation like an LLC or SLR (Some in your family will at least know a lawyer who can do this, I would never ask a lawyer for business advise though, ask a person in business), 3. A good tax advisor who can help you take advantage of the new tax code, although if you are in business with us you are tax exempt with many of the usual taxes. Now… what business should you start?
